The mouth watering snacks liked by every indian. Potato cutlets are so crispy and tasty.We can make it at snack time. We can also serve it in front of guest. The best part is that it can be made easily and in the small time.
Ingredients for potato cutlets
⦁ Potato – 500 grams (medium -sized and washed thoroughly)
⦁ Ginger – 10 grams
⦁ Tomato – 1(medium-sized)
⦁ salt – 1 tablespoon
⦁ Ghee – as per need
⦁ green peas – 200 grams
⦁ onion – 1(big size)
⦁ green chilli – 5-6(as per choice)
⦁ few crumbs of bread
⦁ a little bit coriander(for garnishing)
Directions for preparing potato cutlets:
preparation- 20 min
cook – 20 min
ready in – 40 min
STEP 1 :To prepare potato cutlets firstly boil the potatoes. After the potatoes has been boiled leave them to be cool. After that peel the potatoes and crush them properly.now cut the green chillies . Add salt ,green chillies , and coriander in the crushed potatoes. If you want you can add red chilli also.
STEP 2 :Now,boil the green peas . then pour some oil in a pan till it gets hot.then add chopped onion in it and fry till the onions gets golden brown.Add chopped green chillies , grated ginger , and chopped tomatoes and fry.
STEP 3:Now add boiled peas , garam masala , coriander to this paste and and close the lid . after 5 minutes stir it well. when all vegetables mixed well then turn off the gas flame.
STEP 4:now make small cakes of earlier prepared potato mixture.and fill the paste in pan into the small cakes then give the shape of that cake ball as you want . now make the above ball of all of the potato mixture . when all the ball are made then clean the pan and pour some oil in it. After the oil gets hot then put potatoes cakes into the pan and fry them from both sides and pour them in another plate .
now, your potato cutlets are ready ☻☻☻ .
So serve it with tomato sauce and green chilli sauce and enjoy snacks with your family .
It is necessary that potatoes are finely boiled. And the potato cakes should be finely made so that they cannot be leaked while frying.Potato cakes should be finely fried till golden brown. You can add chillies and salt as per your taste.You can use coriander for garnishing. you can skip green chillies. If you want to add another vegetables then you can add but these should be finely chopped.
