Potato samosa recipe(How to make samosa)

Samosa is the snack which is loved by all . This is made up of potato stuffed fried deeply snacks . This is the very popular in india as well as all across asian countries and middle east . Samosa is basically originated from middle east and was brought to india by merchants . This is now so popular even it can be seen anywhere at the stalls of every street and every restaurant . Its taste made everyone crazy about it. The best part is that it can be made easily at home.So lets try this amazing samosa recipe .

INGREDIENTS:

Potato : 500 grams
Ginger : 1 small piece
green chillies : 6-7
White flour(maida) : 250 grams
vanaspati oil: 50 grams
oil : 6 big spoon
cumin seeds : 1 tablespoon
dhania powder : 4 tablespoon
garam masala : 2 tablespoon
chaat masala : 2 tablespoon

DIRECTIONS:

preparation : 30 min
cook : 20 min
ready in : 50 min
Step 1: firstly boil the potatoes.
Step 2 : When the potatoes are finely boiled the peel them .
Step 3 : Now mesh the peeled and boiled potatoes.
Step 4 : Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seed and fry till golden brown .
Step 5 : now add paste of green chillies and ginger and stir well .
Step 6 : stir it until the chillies are not fried well and now add dhania powder to it.
Step 7 : after 20 seconds add meshed potatoes , salt , 2 tablespoon garam masala, chaat masala and coriander leaves .
Step 8 : stir well for about 2-3 minutes and leave it to be cool down .
Step 9 : for making cover add vanaspati oil and a pinch of salt to white flour and add water and kneed it to a tight dough .
Step 10 : Leave the dough for 20 minutes.
Step 11 : Make 8 balls of the dough of same size and roll in oval shape .And cut each into two parts and make the cone of it .
Step 12 : Now fill filling into the cone and paste the corners using some water.
Step 13 : For making more crispy ,leave them for sometime to be try .
Step 14 :heat the oil and fry all the samosas till golden brown on a low flame .
Now your tasty and crispy samosaas are ready .

SUGGESTIONS :

do not fry excess ,only fry on low flame. Boil the potatoes carefully ,they should not be over boiled .
You can serve with tomato sauce and green chutney.
